Performed as a stand alone procedure or in combination with our laser services, the Vitalize Peel® is a medium range peel suitable for all skin types and can be done in 20 minutes (also known as a lunchtime peel). Patients can resume their activities immediately after the session. If sun exposure is likely, patients need to apply sun block.

This Vitalize Peel® is only available by physicians and has predictable and noticeable results even after just one session*. This procedure can be done on the face, neck, shoulders, and back.

How It Works

The Vitalize Peel® has 3 steps:

  • An alcohol-based prepping solution cleans and exfoliates the skin.
  • A solution containing both alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids is applied to the skin. These acids improve hyperpigmentation, photodamage and acne.
  • A retinoic acid 0.3% solution is applied which further improves acne and photodamaged areas of the skin.
The application of these acids results in an intended peel in the epidermal layer of the skin as well as collagen remodeling and dermal regeneration. This gives the skin an improved appearance, more even skin color, smoother texture and a healthier glow*.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The most dramatic results are seen after a series of peels. Most patients require 3 to 6 peels for maximum benefit*.

To get optimal results, Dr. Burghli may recommend other treatments which compliment the Vitalize Peel®. These treatments include IPL Skin Rejuvenation, Laser Acne Treatment and Laser Skin Tightening.
